So...anyways, BrickRock will start filming soon! I promise! Here's some ideas for "episodes" I have laying around and planning to use. Let me know what you think. My plan is that each "episode" has a song (a real one or one I make up for the comic) that someone plays in that "episode." you can easily YouTube it for the actual song.
Episode 1- "Everyday"
Meet The Bricks, a local band striving to make it big. After they book a prime spot at the local bar, their rivals, Blokhead, show up and try to cause mayhem.
Featured Song: Everyday-Vetiver
Episode 2- "Math Is Rad"
The Bricks run into the drummer of legendary ska-punk band Torchfish, Sid Xavier, but find out he became a sell-out, now acting in soap operas and creating a CD featuring "creative and educational" renditions of Torchfish songs. (note: Torchfish is totally a made up band.)
Featured Song: None.
Episode 3- "The '59 Sound"
Tragedy strikes Tom, the Bricks' vocalist, and Ray receives a harsh lesson about sympathy. Meanwhile, Blokhead tries to undermine up-and-coming singer-songwriter Crispin Flare.
Featured Song: The '59 Sound-The Gaslight AnthemWell, those are some ideas. Let me know what you think.
